Diagnosis in Homeopathy

Diagnosis comprises important information about a disease process going on in a body. However, it is not enough for a homeopath with this knowledge since several persons may have the same diagnosis, but the disease will be accompanied by different singularities. Let’s take headache: one can not stand a bright light, another can not move, the third one will get a continuous vomit, the fourth one will wish to move and feel better, however, the fifth one will be released only in bed.

As you can see, the core disease is accompanied by more factors and these factors possibly are the most important when choosing a medication. A homeopathic medication is prescribed not in consideration of the diagnosis, but in consideration of complaints. If you want a correct answer, a homeopathy doctor needs not only diagnosis. A diagnosis represents a part of the scope of information about disease, but not a bit of information about patient. A diagnosis describes a process going on (curable or not) and disease’s localization, but by no means it discovers patient’s personality and understanding of disease causes.

The most unusual and important in homeopathy is ability to understand the patient since any disease appears by some reason. There is something stimulating the disease, there is a ground. The principal idea today is to earn as much as possible so homeopaths look bizarre. Even colleagues of conventional medicine do not hesitate to laugh in face saying that nobody needs this kind of care about the person. However, classic homeopathy physicians do not agree and continue to listen attentively to all the complaints of any patient.

Any information represents a suffering, an experience, a trace impressed inside the person. The memory stores it all, especially emotional sufferings which penetrate a person deeply and it is bothering. It interferes the thinking process, expression of emotions, disturbs a normal functioning of the body.

A homeopath will always examine every case in depth, taking into consideration the heredity, actual state, and external influence onto the today’s state. Which specialty physicians today do listen to the patient so carefully? You may not name any of them who would be so interested in everything going on with the patient in order to prescribe a medication.

Here is a recently analyzed case. A 46-years old man had almost gone blind (he could see a little in the dark). His parents were cousins (incest) and the ophthalmologist evaluated patient’s state as a degenerative eye disorder because of the hereditary factor. Vitamin A was prescribed as medication. As you understand, this could not help the patient in any way, but would just support pharmacy business.

Genetic disorders represent an essential factor. But when studying the case in depth it became known that the patient had one more peculiarity – en excessive sexual desire associated by promiscuous sexual relations and as a consequence often sexually transmitted diseases.

As we know, gonorrhea carries impact on eyes, joints, both becoming visibly stricken at first, especially in case of a hereditary sensibility to gonococcus. So when the person opened his mind, it became possible to prescribe a treatment, a specific and individual treatment. This disease process was destructive, but in case of observing the prescriptions the patient had a chance to stop the disease and to improve his state of health with homeopathy.

So does a homeopathy doctor need a diagnosis? Of course, he needs one, but he also needs much more information to clear up the mystery of the disease and to find the right treatment.
